Below are a few samples from a series of tutorial style videos focused around enabling the viewer to efficiently use Google Slides to expedite and up-level their deck building process.
The series was centralized around an internal deck building template called the “Holodeck Template”, which is a storytelling tool Q Branch created and maintained for the sales organization.
For this project, I established the visual style and direction for how the series should be edited as well as offered best practices for video editing. Additionally, I acted as the voice over narrator and audio editor for every video. Lastly, I created an animated video annotation template for our team to use in order to keep our annotations visually consistent as well as created an animation to mark the end of the video.
Note: This series consisted of 40+ tutorial videos ranging from 2-10 minutes in length. Below are two trimmed examples that I created from beginning to end as well as a short demo reel of the annotation template.
CROPPING PHOTOS
This clip discusses the basics of properly cropping imagery without distorting the image itself. This was the first video that I edited and served as the base line for all other videos in the series to match in terms of art direction, audio quality, etc.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
In this clip of one of the longer videos in the series, I discuss simple, but powerful keyboard shortcuts a sales team member may not know about.
ANNOTATION TEMPLATES
This is a short reel of the various annotations we used throughout each video. The template was created in Camtasia and was fully shareable to the team for easy implementation into each video.
Note: Not all variations of each annotation are shown. There are multiple style options for each example shown. Additionally, the positioning of each object may differ in actual videos based on the information being shown on the screen.
